New Year’s in Florida Pt. 1: Universal Studios Orlando

For New Years 2019, I was fortunate enough to go on an amazing adventure to Florida with my boyfriend. It was the first time I had traveled out of state without my family, let alone with a significant other. Needless to say, I was both elated and completely petrified. Stoked to be finally going on an adventure with the person I love but also nervous in regards to my travel anxiety. I tend to get very frazzled and overwhelmed when I’m far away from home in an unfamiliar environment. One of the things that helped me look forward to the trip was the fact that we were gonna visit Florida’s theme parks; something I never thought I would be would able to do. Down below is a collection of our most memorable moments

One of the first things that caught my eye walking into Islands of Adventure was this shoppe entrance.

Universal Orlando had one of the best themed areas I’ve seen at a theme park. Islands of Adventure really makes you feel like you’re on a exotic voyage looking for buried treasure.

I was under the impression that this was some type of water ride. It didn’t take me long to realize that this is, in fact, a very elaborately themed restaurant.
